This is my first time at Bellagio Las vegas, and honestly, I felt a bit lost. Didn’t know where to begin or what to do. It’s a real adventure for newcomers like me! Las Vegas has a lot of hotels for everyone’s preferences and budgets. After checking out many options, I decided to stay at one of the most well-known hotels in Las Vegas: the Bellagio Hotel & Casino.
You must be curious to know what why Bellagio is so hyped? Well there are plenty of reasons why you should stay or visit the most famous hotel on your Vegas strip. Hang on, the best part is yet to come!
Bellagio is a classic luxury hotel located on the Vegas strip and probably has the best view in town. The design was inspired by the town of Bellagio in Lake Como, Italy.
It owes the majority of its popularity to the large dancing music fountains popularly known as Bellagio fountains which will leave you awestruck.
Bellagio is famed to be the first Las Vegas hotel-casino to receive the AAA Five Diamond award, as well as the largest resort in AAA history. The hotel opened over 20 years ago but still stands as fresh and sparkling as new.

We booked a Resort King room for our stay but this lavish hotel offers many other options too.
You can choose a room with a panoramic strip view, fountain view, a resort-accessible room, or a premium suite with the strip view.
The surrounding mountains and the Vegas skyline make the hotel location very appealing whereas the rooms showcase exemplary aesthetics.

You can have an exuberant time enjoying at the bars and lounges, Light Nightclub, or get a ticket to “O” by Cirque du Soleil, where a cast of swimmers, divers, and other characters perform flawlessly using water as their stage.

Bellagio brings you numerous dining options. If you have the opportunity to visit new areas, I have a few suggestions for you.
You can head to Sadelle’s Café for a great brunch, PRIME Steakhouse for amazing steak and seafood, Bellagio Patisserie for delicious French pastry, LAGO for Italian cuisine, or any of the many fine restaurants at Bellagio.
But be sure to book a table in advance! We had a romantic dinner at Spago by Wolfgang Puck to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and had an amazing time enjoying the close view of Bellagio Fountains.
Nightlife:
The bars and lounges at Bellagio set the perfect tone for vibrant night-time enjoyment. Experience high energy DJ at Lily Bar & Lounge, view of the casino action at Baccarat Bar, live music from Steinway grand at Petrossian Bar, or your favorite sports and good drinks at Sports Book & Bar.

Apart from all of this, Bellagio has some really cool things to check out, making it a super popular hotel in Las Vegas.
1. Bellagio Fountain:
Fountains Of Bellagio
Trust me, watching Bellagio fountains is the best free thing to do in Vegas. Imagine over 1,200 fountains dancing in perfect synchronization with the music and lighting in over 8 acres of a man-made lake.
The view will blow your mind away. I had a very close look at the incredible view while having dinner at Spago where we were seated exactly in front of the fountains.
Also, our dinner at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant was so special because of the panoramic view of the fountains with Bellagio Hotel’s front façade and dazzling strip lights in the backdrop.
The show starts in intervals of 30 minutes from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight.

2. Entrance Lobby
I was astounded as soon as I stepped into the lobby. The design was fabulous and the ambiance was incredible. I actually took a few moments to admirably look at the lobby.
Glass Ceiling in The Bellagio Resort
The glass ceiling décor was simply outstanding and I couldn’t resist clicking a lot of pictures. I was also awed by the beautiful glass floral sculpture Fio di Como located just outside the Conservatory. It is made from about 2000 pieces of colorful hand-blown glass flowers and petals.
3. Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden
This amazing attraction is free for public visits and is a must-visit attraction in Bellagio and on the strip. The installations are seasonally changed five times round the year.
So visitors have a varied experience during different times of the year. You’ll be amazed to see some amazing displays like a high white fir, a giant deceased banyan tree, and many poinsettias in the conservatory.
4. Casino
Bellagio’s casino is one of the strip’s largest and most dynamic casinos. The slot action is really exciting and features several reel, video reel, and video poker games.
The casino floor presents many table games that attract a lot of people not only as players but spectators too.
Bellagio’s Casino
If you’re more of the latter, head to the Petrossian Bar or Baccarat Bar where you can indulge in the ambiance and seat yourself on the posh seats overlooking the buzz in the casino.
5. Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art
The gallery showcases art pieces from the likes of Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, and Andy Warhol. However, there’s a frequent rotation out of the exhibits so visitors can always have a look at something new.
Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art
The gallery is open Thursday to Monday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Admission is on a paid basis and you can either purchase the tickets online in advance or directly at the box office.
6. Window Shopping
Bellagio houses several high-end shops including OMEGA, Fendi, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes, etc. Although the shopping experience at these luxury brand outlets can cost you a fortune, you can certainly have a merry time window-shopping.

However, if it’s okay for you to be extravagant, Bellagio would be a good place to get yourself a chic souvenir.
7. Swimming Pool
The luxurious pool decks are accessible only to Bellagio guests, so if you’re on a stay, go ahead and spend some time by the pool to soothe yourself.
The pool deck at Bellagio is divided into separated courtyards which even gives you the liberty of having your own space surrounded by lush greens. The Mediterranean feel and peaceful vibes are sure to make the time fly while you’re by the poolside.
Whether one is a culture enthusiast, a dedicated shopper, or seeking relaxation, the Bellagio guarantees a memorable and extraordinary stay.
